DSHS SWIMMER EARNS ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN HONORS

Recent Dripping Springs High School graduate Piper Guinn was named an Academic All-American by the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA).

The recognition is given to seniors carrying at least a 3.75 GPA. Just two percent of high school swimming, diving and water polo athletes nationally earn this prestigious honor.

Guinn ranked in the top 10 percent in the DSHS Class of 2021 and earned an academic merit scholarship to Whittier College in California. She competed in the 100-yard breaststroke and was a member of the district and regional championship teams for the Tigers in 2021.
