DSHS STUDENTS NAMED TO ALL-REGION CHOIR
The first round of the Texas Music Educators Association All-State Choir Auditions took place virtually as students recorded audio auditions, which were judged Oct. 17 by a panel of expert choir directors and voice teachers. Of the 35 Dripping Springs High School choir students who participated in the audition process and submitted recordings to be considered in the first round (region) of the audition process, 23 students earned a spot in the Region Choir, and will advance to the Pre-Area round of auditions. Twelve DSHS students placed in the "Top Five chairs" in their section. Courtney Neva is the DSHS choir director.

ALUMNOS DE DSHS NOMBRADOS PARA EL CORO REGIONAL
La primera ronda de las audiciones de coros estatales de la Asociación de Educadores de Música de Texas se llevó a cabo virtualmente. Los alumnos grabaron audiciones de audio, las cuales fueron juzgadas el 17 de octubre por un panel de directores de coro y maestros expertos de voz. De los 35 alumnos del coro de la preparatoria Dripping Springs High School que participaron en el proceso de audición y enviaron grabaciones para ser considerados en la primera ronda (regional) del proceso de audición, 23 de ellos obtuvieron un lugar en el Coro Regional y avanzan a las audiciones pre ronda de Área. Doce alumnos de DSHS colocaron en las "cinco mejores sillas" de su sección. Courtney Neva es la directora del coro de DSHS.
