KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH DSISD
With the start of a new semester DSISD wants to remind its stakeholders of numerous opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest news, accomplishments, videos, and information from DSISD.
The annual Stakeholder's Report was recently published and serves as a catch-all for many types of information about DSISD. The report includes student and staff accomplishments, letters from the superintendent and the Board of Trustees, data on assessments, information about the district budget, and bond updates. The online version is here.
DSISD regularly adds to three ongoing video series: "Tiger Tracks," which highlights innovative programs and student achievements; "Eye on the Tigers," which are shorter, highlight-style videos about specific events or lessons; and "Humans of DSISD," videos that showcase various members of our Tiger Family staff, the roles they play within our district, and what they enjoy the most about working at DSISD. Another regularly updated section on DSISDtx.us is "Fact Checker."This feature takes topics that have surfaced in community conversations and uses a Q&A format to provide accurate, factual information as well as background if appropriate, and link to any related resources on the district website.
MANTENIENDOSE EN CONTACTO CON DSISD
Con el comienzo de un nuevo semestre, DSISD quisiera recordar a los interesados que hay numerosas oportunidades para mantenerse al dÃa con las últimas noticias, logros, videos, e información de DSISD.
El Informe anual a la comunidad que se ve arriba, se publicó recientemente y sirve como una fuente informativa que contiene diversos elementos útiles sobre DSISD. El informe incluye datos interesantes como logros de los alumnos y del personal, cartas del superintendente y de la Mesa Directiva Escolar, datos sobre evaluaciones, información sobre el presupuesto del distrito, y actualizaciones de bonos.
