PARENT UNIVERSITY SPEAKER NOV. 14 AT WSE

The DSISD Parent University speaker series continues on Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Walnut Springs Elementary Cafeteria. Guest speaker Tracy King will present "Connecting Kids in a Disconnected World." The presentation begins at 6:30 p.m., and pizza will be served (first-come, first-served) beginning at 6:00 p.m. Child care will be provided in the gym by high school student volunteers.

The Parent University series is led by DSISD's elementary counselors who received a grant from the Dripping Springs Education Foundation to fund the program. The first program was held in September; two others will be held at the other three DSISD elementary campuses in the spring.

EL ORADOR PARA LA UNIVERSIDAD DE PADRES DE FAMILIA PRESENTA EL 14 DE NOVIEMBRE EN WSE

La serie de presentadores para la universidad de padres de familia DSISD continúa el jueves 14 de noviembre en la cafetería de la primaria Walnut Springs Elementary. La oradora invitada Tracy King presentará "Conectando a niños en un mundo desconectado." La presentación comienza a las 6:30 p.m. y se servirá pizza (por orden de llegada) a partir de las 6:00 p.m. Habrá cuidado de niños el cual será proporcionado en el gimnasio por alumnos voluntarios de preparatoria.

La serie de la Universidad de Padres está dirigida por los asesores de primaria de DSISD que recibieron una subvención de la fundación educativa Dripping Springs para financiar el programa. El primer programa se realizó en septiembre; otros dos se llevarán a cabo en las otras tres escuelas primarias de DSISD en la primavera.
