DSHS STUDENT IS FINALIST IN STATE DESIGN CONTEST

Dripping Springs High School junior Melissa Richardson is one of two finalists in a statewide logo design contest sponsored by the State Board of Education (SBOE). Students were tasked with creating a logo for the state's Permanent School Fund. A total of 521 entries from high schoolers around Texas were submitted.

The top two entries will be recognized at the SBOE meeting on Feb. 1, 2019, at which time the winning design will be announced. Both students will receive an award and prize money.

ALUMNA DE DSHS ES FINALISTA EN CONCURSO ESTATAL DE DISEÑO

Melissa Richardson, de segundo año de preparatoria en Dripping Springs High School es una de dos finalistas para diseñar el logotipo en el concurso estatal patrocinado por SBOE (State Board of Education). Se dio a los estudiantes la tarea de crear un logotipo para el fondo escolar permanente del estado. Fueron presentados un total de 521 diseños de preparatorias a través del estado de Texas.

Los dos diseños finalistas serán reconocidos en la junta de la SBOE el 1o de febrero de, 2019, cuando será anunciado el diseño ganador. Ambos alumnos finalistas recibirán un premio y dinero.
