SUPERINTENDENT FORMS STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL

Each year, Superintendent Bruce Gearing meets regularly with a small group of Dripping Springs High School students representing different grade levels. The Council meets with Dr. Gearing five or six times throughout the school year to share ideas and provide feedback. These informal gatherings provide him with an opportunity to hear the student perspective on district issues. Members of the 2018-19 Superintendent's Student Advisory Council (SSAC) are: Tallulah Andrushko, Sloan Ashley, Aiden Bailey, Allison Haberman, Maximilian Hodsden, Jacob McMullen, Beck McWhorter, Greyson Patterson, Aurora Sloan, and Addie Villas.

In addition to the SSAC meetings, Dr. Gearing also visits meetings of student organizations and leadership groups at all campuses during the school year.

Cada año, el Superintendente Bruce Gearing se junta regularmente con un pequeño grupo de alumnos de la preparatoria Dripping Springs High School que representan diferentes niveles de grado. El consejo se reúne con el Dr. Gearing cinco o seis veces a través del año escolar para compartir ideas y proveer opiniones. Estas reuniones informales le proporcionan una oportunidad de oír la perspectiva estudiantil sobre temas del distrito.
