JAZZ STUDENTS' FLOAT WINS TOP PRIZE

The Dripping Springs Jazz Society's Founders Day parade float won the “Grand Marshal First Place” award. The group, made up of more than 30 students from the DSMS Jazz Band, SSMS Jazz Band, and the DSHS Combo Horn Section, was honored for their float decoration and musical performances. The Dripping Springs Band Boosters sponsored the float, which was made possible by the help of parent volunteers and middle school band directors.

LA CARROZA DE LOS ALUMNOS DE JAZZ GANA PRIMER PREMIO

La carroza que la sociedad de jazz de Dripping Springs presentó en el desfile de la feria de Founders Day (día de los fundadores) ganó el premio “Grand Marshal First Place”. El grupo, compuesto por más de 30 alumnos de las bandas de jazz de las escuelas DSMS, SSMS, y la sección combinada de las trompas de DSHS, fue reconocido por la decoración de su carroza y por sus desempeños musicales. La carroza fue patrocinada por Dripping Springs Band Boosters, y fue realizada con la ayuda de padres voluntarios y directores de las bandas musicales de secundaria.
