AG STUDENTS COMPETE IN STATE FFA CONTESTS

Students from the Dripping Springs High School ag program competed in the FFA State Career Development Events April 25 and 27.

On Saturday, the livestock team placed seventh out of 97 teams in the Livestock Career Development Event, which was held at Texas A&M University. Individually, Kyle Herron placed seventh as well. The team is composed of Herron, Caitlyn Alderson, Emma Minigh, Ashley Smith, and Cecelia Vantrease.

Other events were held April 25 at Tarleton State University. In the Dairy Cattle Career Development Event, the Dripping Springs FFA team placed 23rd. Members were: Faith Baxter, Skylar Duleba and Caroline Olson. The Dripping Springs FFA Homesite Evaluation team placed 31st; competing team members were Iris Baker, Cayla Cohen, Chase Collier, and Michael White.​

ALUMNOS DE AGRICULTURA COMPITEN EN EVENTOS FFA ESTATALES

Alumnos del programa de agricultura de la preparatoria Dripping Springs compitieron en los eventos estatales de desarrollo de carreras profesionales FFA el 25 y 27 de abril.

El sábado, el equipo de ganadería salió en séptimo lugar entre 97 otros equipos en el evento de desarrollo de carreras agropecuarias, que tuvo lugar en la universidad Texas A&M. Individualmente, Kyle Herron también quedó en séptimo lugar. El equipo está compuesto de Herron, Caitlyn Alderson, Emma Minigh, Ashley Smith, y Cecelia Vantrease.

Los otros eventos el 25 de abril en Tarleton State University fueron: desarrollo de carreras en ganadería lechera donde el equipo FFA Dripping Springs compuesto de Faith Baxter, Skylar Duleba y Caroline Olson terminó en 23º lugar. El equipo FFA de evaluación de tierras salió en 31º lugar; los miembros del equipo que compitieron fueron Iris Baker, Cayla Cohen, Chase Collier, y Michael White.​
