DSHS CHOIR STUDENTS HONORED

At the regional UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest held Feb. 24, 26 DSHS students earned First Division ratings and six qualified for the state contest to be held in May.

State qualifiers are soloists Ravelle Dundon, Matea Hafner, Gabby Marek, Shaylin Mayhew, Juliane Paine and Juliana Ussia, as well as the ensemble of Logan Dundon, Matea Hafner, Emma Minigh, Molly Moynihan, and Preston Willis.

In addition to the state qualifiers, several other students earned FIRST Division ratings from the judges. Soloists earning that honor were: Arianna Bentz, Katie Lynch, Josie Mau, Alyssa Schaefer, Naomi Lewis, Sarah Little, and Kyndal Miethke.

Ensemble members who were honored with First Division ratings were: Paige Calvert, Erika Doyle, Hanna Gowens, Bailey Lewallen, Juliana Paine, Arianna Bentz, Gabby Marek, Josie Mau, and Kyndal Miethke.

ALUMNOS DE CORO DE DSHS SON RECONOCIDOS

En el concurso regional UIL de coro en solo y conjunto el 24 de febrero, 26 alumnos de DSHS recibieron puntaje de primera división y seis calificaron para el concurso estatal programado para mayo.

Los que calificaron para la estatal son los solistas Ravelle Dundon, Matea Hafner, Gabby Marek, Shaylin Mayhew, Juliane Paine, y Juliana Ussia, y el conjunto de Logan Dundon, Matea Hafner, Emma Minigh, Molly Moynihan, y Preston Willis.

Además de los que calificaron para la estatal, varios otros alumnos ganaron primera división por parte de los jueces. Los solistas que ganaron esa distinción fueron: Arianna Bentz, Katie Lynch, Josie Mau, Alyssa Schaefer, Naomi Lewis, Sarah Little, y Kyndal Miethke.
