DSHS STUDENT FIRST CHAIR AT AREA

Dripping Springs High School junior Lettie Thomas Hastings competed in the recent UIL Area Orchestra auditions for piano and was selected first chair of the two students (out of eight) who moved on to record for the State Orchestra audition. This was Lettie's first time to audition for orchestra on piano in this highly competitive event.

Lettie Thomas Hastings, alumna de tercer año de preparatoria en DSHS, compitió en las recientes audiciones de área UIL de orquesta para piano y fue seleccionada para primera silla entre dos alumnos (de ocho) que avanzan para grabar en las audiciones estatales de orquesta. Fue la primera vez que Lettie participó en una audición para orquesta en piano en este evento altamente competitivo.
